Welcome to Recommendy. By accessing or using our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. About Recommendy

Recommendy is a product discovery and recommendation platform that allows users to discover, share, and engage with product recommendations. Recommendy is a publisher, not a retailer. We do not sell products directly. All purchases are completed through third-party merchants.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services.

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You may not share your account credentials with others.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with the automated systems or ML algorithms of the Services. To enforce these protections, we utilize security tools, including Google reCAPTCHA v3, to monitor for and prevent unauthorized automated activity.

6. Security and Automated Tools

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent spam and abuse. This tool operates invisibly to assess whether an interaction is originating from a human or a bot. Your use of these security tools is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

7. Product Information and Purchases

Prices and availability are subject to change by third-party merchants. Your purchase is subject to the merchant's terms; we are not responsible for product quality or fulfillment.

8. Affiliate Disclosure & Compensation

Recommendy participates in affiliate marketing programs and may earn commissions. Unless you have a separate "Creator Agreement," users do not earn monetary compensation for recommendations.

9. User Content & ML Recommendations

You grant Recommendy a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display your "favorites" and recommendations. You acknowledge that we use automated algorithms and Machine Learning to surface content.

10. Intellectual Property

The Recommendy name, logo, and proprietary algorithms are our property.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recommendy shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

12. Mandatory Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. Any dispute will be settled by binding arbitration in the State of Delaware. You waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.

13. Termination and Governing Law

We may terminate access at any time. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
